BlueLyme...here’s my dilemma w that reasoning. Often times a pathogen can trigger the immune system, and then your body clears the pathogen, but you’re still left with an autoimmune disease. Take guillain barre. You can get that from food poisoning. Your body clears the food poisoning, but what you’re left with is an immune system which is now triggered and in a chronic high alert
. No amount of antibiotics will cure that because the E. coli or helocampobacter jejuni is long gone. I understand that some people have chronic active infections, but I test IgM negative for lyme. I’m negative for every viral or bacterial co infection. My stool analysis was clean too. It very well may have been caused by the awful strep throat I had in 2013. I guess in that case there’s just no offending pathogen to target is my point. Would be much clearer for me if I tested positive for some stuff like you did. But even then I’m not sure I buy that just getting rid of the pathogen restores the immune system
