My ArminLab test results came back today...

Just received back my test results today from ArminLabs. I cleaned it all up for easier reading.

Any comments and/or thoughts are greatly appreciated....

My Background:
This is the 1st “private” lab test I have had done. Other “government” Elisa tests were negative. So....I was looking for “chronic” Lyme and coinfections - since my last tick bite was in May of 2014. I had all the typical symptoms of an acute Lyme, etc. infection at that time - but they were all attributed to “other” things by doctors.

The results of the Elispot tests indicate weak current cellular activities against Borrelia burgdorferi.

Explanation of antigens:
Borrelia-burgdorferi Full Antigen: Borrelia burgdorferi B31 reference strain (Borrelia b sensu stricto)

Borrelia-burgdorferi Peptide Mix: OspA from Borrelia b. sensu stricto, Borrelia afzelii, Borrelia garinii + OspC native + DbpA recombinant.

Borrelia-burgdorferi LFA-1 (Lymphocyte Function Antigen 1) Own body protein + Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto (shared epitope). LFA1 can be associated with autoimmune diseases: collagenosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, vasculitis. If positive or borderline positive look at: ANA, CCP-antibodies, ANCA.

The result of the CD57-cell count indicates chronic immune-suppression, which can be caused by Borrelia burgdorferi or other bacteria like Chlamydia pneumoniae or Mycoplasma pneumoniae.

I’ve been talking to LLNDs in Calgary, a 3 hour drive from where I am. There is a local ND that I have talked to as well. I like that the BC ones can prescribe - may be incentive to move back...lol.

From what I have researched the MD in Calgary has a multi-year waiting list.

I called the LLMD in Calgary (Dr H) last year and then the receptionist said he’s not taking new patients and not adding to a wait list either.

Tough decision for you for sure.

I believe Ehrlichia is treated with same meds as lyme.
