Any reccomendations on a treatment for bart when scratched by a cat who has been bit by quite s few ticks and fleas ( in lyme endemic area ) at some point during life.

It's my kid, my cat. Both child and cat have been exposed before.

Always something to worry about!

Clean out the scratch really well, promptly. Does your kid have a compromised immune system or Lyme? Honestly I wouldn't worry about it if your kid is in average health.

Astragalus comes to mind to boost the immune system.

My 1st thought was Japanese knotweed, cat’s claw, and houttuynia.

My PCP's office treats under the guidelines that all cat scratches that break the skin need to be treated with a Z-pack.

Apparently a cat scratch is much dirtier than a dog bite because cat's walk around in their litter boxes and lick their paws. Saliva can contain cat scratch disease if the cat is a carrier, paws/nails can carry other bacterias....
