Rifampin Pee Colour Change

When is the colour of your urine meant to change? I've taken my first round of 300mg today and I'm feeling it alright, I'm pretty anxious, feeling hot and weird spacing out a bit more... So a positive, it works and the worst will be over soon enough. I took it in enteric capsules as it increases bioavailability too.

I'm just asking as I've done a week with methylene blue and 2 hours after taking it I had neon blue pee (lol.) Wondering when to expect it with the rif. I know that taking it with food decreases absorption, but I'm taking it an hour apart as there are only so many hours in the day. The herx definitely letting me know it's doing something.

Rifampin - my pee was colored within an hour or two of taking it

Rifabutin - it’s not colored as much - just slightly

Mine was a deep orangey/reddish colour...

Are you going to do 300 twice daily or 600 once?

Edit - you mentioned 600 once day

I didn’t know that they came in 600 mg caps.

It may be rough for awhile -
