Apparantly there’s a new drug that eliminates lyme 😳

Looks like a new drug in the cillin family, and while it has been effective in mice, it only has been tested for effectiveness in the first 21 days following infection. So the people with "lingering symptoms" after the initial course of doxy are the people this article is referring to, not people who have been sick for months or years with a chronic condition. That said, we can cross our fingers that it will be helpful for chronic cases!
