I am writing because I have a question about a symptom and I am wondering if anyone had it.
My LLMD prescribed me minocycline 100mg twice a day with plaquenil. The first 5 days I was a little dizzy and I had headache, but the doctor said it was normal, so I waited and after that I was fine. Now 15 days after I have red skin rashes in my body not many and itching.
I wrote to my doctor and I am waiting for answer, but I am afraid and I don't want to stop treatment.
So does anyone had rashes from minocycline? Could it be allergic reaction?

I understand that you do not want to stop a course of treatment that you feel is promising, but I'm glad that you contacted your doctor. A medication allergy can escalate quickly, and an itchy rash with antibiotics would make me feel very concerned.

If it's not an allergic reaction, then could it be candida? Maybe try some topical probiotics alternating with tea tree oil and coconut oil, and see if it improves.
