Ughhh I spoke too soon is this normal for most ppl . I've been on astragalus and golden seal for 2 weeks but started cats claw 72 hrs and just started off with low grade sore throat that come and go massive headaches towards back of head and neck???? What can I do to ease the herx quick ???asap

Focus on detox....

Some ideas:

Are you drinking a ton of water?
Add some fresh squeezed lemon juice into some of the water (if you have it)
Take alka seltzer gold.
Take Burbur and Pinella if you have it. (Nutramedix)
Take Jernigan's products - Anti-tox (can't remember the full names)
take warm epsom salt baths (my favorite detox)
Dry brush your skin prior to baths. If you don't have a dry brush, wet a face cloth, let it dry and use that.
Take a binder - ie Activated charcoal...etc.
Take probiotics for gut health
Sleep/rest

Do you have a pain reliever for your headache?

A herx on cat's claw is common, yes. It's a good herb for a lot of things. That said, might be worth checking for a fever with your symptoms. Girlie has good detox ideas! I would also recommend not increasing your dose, and possibly decreasing it for a while, until you get to a more tolerable baseline.

As saraeli and WalkingbyFaith mentioned - lower the dose of the cats claw in conjunction with detox will help immensely
