I had major fatigue as well, - it was from many things combined though. Ive power napped my whole life after adolescence - when ill, I had to do this several times a day.
Always had jobs with minimal supervision and flex time for this reason - , napped in the car off site lunches ect, no choice, i literally adapted my life around fatigue. Also surprisingly competed in endurance sports (with good results) but was trained how to mentally control Adrenalin/cortisol release as it pertained to physical endurance. It worked, but I would be completely "done" (zombie in a coma) at the end while others were energetically socializing. I could hardly talk coherent until a hard power nap after the event.
My case:
-These infections cause obviously major body stress.
-Adrenals over worked- takes years to heal, im prob at 80-90% there.
-hashimoto autoimmune (lethargic), then ten years of the wrong thyroid med after Hashi Dx
-introvert- groups of people wear me out
-past diet , although not bad, was cytokine releasing per my food/blood tests
A lot better today, but stress or to many people will still tire me out (which is not an illness), a 10-30 min power nap after work sometimes is needed and im good to go. The autoimmune thing may never go away- its controlled(by diet and health) at the moment for last two years, but still there.
