That does not sound like a symptom of MCAS. Sounds more like sleep apnea. My (healthy) partner has episodes like that while sleeping on his back, particularly when overtired or stressed.
I know this stuff is freaky. I hope that you are able to tolerate the disulfiram and find some improvement!
yeah i got a CPAP machine for my sleep apnea recently. I think the MCAS makes sleep apnea worse. I am almost always unable to breathe through nose properly while sleeping. Unless im taking Xyzal (levocetrizine). Then, in 2h i am breathing like an elephant and my sleep is perfect. But it is not really good to take Xyzal life time, it wrecks your immune system even more than we already have it with lyme. So i am taking it only when my MCAS is really bad. then stop.
I am also taking Quercetin, which works, but only for 3-4 after i take it. it is not as efficient as Xyzal, but i think it is probably safer long term.
And i will be trying this CPAP to help with my sleep.
