Also, I think people should be stocking on up on food. My concern is that the supply chain begins to break down. Reloaded on a ton of meat from Omaha Steaks and freezing greens...its a free option I'm gonna eat em anyway. Maybe they open things back up in a few weeks and everything is ok, but I'm seeing lots of stories like this, and I dont trust trump to manage this thing.

From what I hear, some doctors in NY are combining mega IV doses of Famotidine with Hydroxychloroquine?

Thank you for posting this!!! I went straight to Walmart and bought a bottle of Max Strength generic famotidine.

I read the link. In the article, they stated:

“recommended famotidine to his 44-year-old sister, an engineer with New York City hospitals. She had tested positive for COVID-19 and developed a fever. Her lips became dark blue from hypoxia. She took her first megadose of oral famotidine on 28 March. The next morning, her fever broke and her oxygen saturation returned to a normal range. Five sick co-workers, including three with confirmed COVID-19, also showed dramatic improvements after taking over-the-counter versions of the drug”

This was a “megadose of oral famotidine” not IV. They didn’t indicate what a megadose is - how much. If anyone finds info on how muxh oral famotidibe is needed and how often, please post it here. I had one bottle at home and bought another - 50 tablets in a bottle.

Any knowledge of what the side effects of a megadose of famotidine might be like?

Walkingbyfaith I heard they used “9x” the recommended normal dose.

Thanks for posting the latest article. Unfortunately, the doctors interviewed for the article state they have no idea why famotidine increases survival of COVID-19 patients (don’t know how it works if it does work).

Do any of our resident brainiacs have an idea of what famotidine is doing that benefits COVID patients?
