Hey You all,

I hope you’re well. I was wondering what the proper dosage of milk thistle there is a day to cleanse your liver? It seems like it’s rather sluggish lately and I’d like to take some milk thistle to give it a good cleaning.

Buhner calls it a "food grade" herb. I currently take about 1700mg most days divided in three doses. It's possible I wouldn't take quite so high a dose if I wasn't on ABX. I've heard of others taking a higher dose even.

Dang that's a high dose. The one I got from the store yesterday is only like 250 mg or something. At least I got something for now.
I've been wondering if I should get this organic one on Amazon that has a 7500mg dose in just one capsule. I am not on antibiotics. Just take anti-anxiety (as needed) and thyroid and naltrexone as my pharmaceuticals and so I'm wondering what dose I would need. I'm also very lean for my height and so I know that could be a factor too.

You may not need as high a dose as I take. Nutrabio brand has 300mg per capsule.
