Can't win?

Found a tick on me. It was rooted but not engorged I think it was on me for about 1-2 hours. Of course part of the tick got stuck in me. I started taking doxy 100 twice daily it looks like that is what ILADS recommends. Ive seen some readings say 200mg twice daily pretty sure my stomach could not handle that. I had the tick tested it was positive for Borrelia negative for Anaplasma and Babesia. I suspect it wasnt on me long enough but I guess I will take antibiotics for 21 days.

On a good note Ive started to feel considerably better. On a bad note I got my appendix out which had a neoroendocrine tumor in it somehow I got lucky less then a 1000 cases per year in the US. But my muscle and back pain is so much better now I really think that was the root of my problems. I may have to get a right hemicolectomy Im waiting to get a second opinion. That part sucks!!

I wont need chemo but its possible I may need a good bit of my colon removed. I have an appt at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in a couple weeks for them to review. Before I decide on the surgery.
