One thing I wish I had supplemented while on DSF is NAC. Have you been taking that or lipo glutathione to protect mitochondria?

So, last time I complained that nothing happens on disulfiram and I was really confused whether to continue...

But, last week I had a small herx and looks like Im little, very little better now. My new blood tests for liver are very good, I will probably continue.

for clarification:
- For now 3,5 moths on DSF and Buhner Core, its my second try of this treatment
- Now on 350 mg/day, no side effects
- Only 2 herxes due this period - on start and last week

Please also happened to someone that responded ONLY to a high dose? More than 300 mg? Classic version of DSF, no effervescent, I do put into enteric coated capsules.

...Yes, this is very good point! Try some more "provocative test" with something? I'll just mention that I've already had tons of atb and I don't want to repeat it much because it hasn't had any results in the past!

I'm a little over 3 months off DSF and Ceftin. Had a Covid phone consult with my LLMD last Tuesday and doing pretty good off all abx treatment with no noticeable setbacks. I still have neuropathy in the balls of both feet caused by my high dose of DSF last June, and my normal lingering other neuro sx. Brain fog and memory are best that I can recall since starting tx over 10 years ago.

I only take a handful of supplements plus my heart meds, and plan next LLMD visit for next June unless major sx return . My new part time job after retiring last June has ramped up to full time hours for past few weeks to help cover staff shortages due to covid issues.

Thanks Girlie. But I've hit 80 to 85% percent twice before then relapsed within 3 months after stopping abx, even when pulsing up to 1 week on then 3 or 4 weeks off. I think the DSF finally helped clear up the infection(s) another 5 to 10 percent, especially in the brain, so we'll see how long I can last this time.

I still have an active infection with occasional spontaneous bruising and blood vessel ruptures like I've had throughout treatment. This time around I'm more acceptable to living with my lingering neuro issues as this is as good as it gets.

After reading a recent post last week on Cauliflower Queen's relapse I held off posting my own same-ole-same-ole account until after discussing next steps today with my LLMD.

Short story is in early February I started to get stiff and painful shoulders and neck that I wrote off to using snow blower and raking snow off roof. Then neuro issues like stabbing pain in right foot and left thumb, muscle twitching in face, head pressure,. Then flushing and burning face, sleep disruptions and fatigue returned to make me schedule and LLMD appointment ASAP. My last phone consult in January went well and she reminded me not to be in denial should sx return.

Today's discussion was pretty short and she recommended with restarting abx or herbals ASAP. I had stopped herbals after my heart attack since those new meds also thinned blood so I stopped cats claw, JK, Hout, etc that also has same effect. I suggested another try with DSF which she overlooked and after more discussion agreed to this as next step.

I'll start nest week and keep yor posted on my round 2 DSF experiment.

Sorry to hear, tickbite. Do you think there is anything behavioral that could have contributed to your relapse?

For me, lack of sleep seems to be the most common trigger but it can be kind of a chicken/egg question.. I'm never quite sure what makes it so hard for me to get a good night's sleep in the first place.
