Hey Girlie,
Glad your settling in a return to work job that's a better fit for now and much less stressful. Work stress was one of my worse triggers while trying to heal from all my past neuro sx. Just had a nice summer off since retiring on June 1 and now collecting my social security, but now I'm ready to find a nice local part time gig now that schools are starting to figure out how to re-open, and there is less competition from the youths.
As you continue to improve health-wise I'm sure you will have more opportunities to advance to help pad your pension.
later,
I’m not familiar with social security - it’s prob similar to our “old age pension” - every one gets one at 65 but it’s not much $$
.. or there’s our CPP (Canada pension plan) that employers deduct amounts monthly from all workers.
It’s more $$ if you’ve worked most of your adult life.
