Itching Eyes but not Dry Eyes, Constant Dizziness

Not sure why bu things have really been getting worse lately. My eyes feel irritated and itch/burn, but it is not dry eyes as I can cry and get a lot of tears. When sleeping I wake up and they are watery.

Also, dizziness is much worse as it was gone for years. Last week or two it has gotten much, much worse. Not vertigo but the dazed, bit off balance feeling constantly. Have also noticed when I pee it burns a little, especially when waking up at night to pee. No UTI was found in urine sample. It's also harder to pee at night. During day symptoms related to that are not as bad.

I'm really wondering if all this is due to autoimmune, even though no positive tests. Fever also lasting longer each day. Instead of a couple of hours late in afternoon or early evening, it is happening sooner and lasts longer (98.9 - 99.5). I know when it is happening as I feel worse.

Like all has gone crazy.

Mold exposure? Seasonal allergies?

Sorry to hear that you are having extra challenges. Goodness knows none of us needs more to deal with!

saraeli - Thanks for response. We all have extra challenges. It's good to have people to get thoughts from and provide thoughts to.

Allergies are not bad this time of year in Georgia. Mold? Hoping Biologix can give me a better idea on that and if they are in play, I can get testing done when I get home. I noticed on the blood work form they are also testing for histamines.

I leave Sunday the 5th of July. Excited and apprehensive at the same time. How are things going for you?

All those things can be from toxic mold exposure.

Not familiar with Biologix. What kind of test do they do?

WBF - Biologix used to be Hansa Center. They are going to be checking body for mold issues and many others. When I get back, as long as my COVID test is negative, I will be having house checked and hoping while at Biologix they can detect if mold is playing a part in symptoms.

Quin - I had COVID test done two days ago and hoping to get results back before I leave for Biologix Center. I didn't know itchy, watering eyes can be part of COVID. Not doubting it, just didn't know that. Thanks.

Sorry to double up on posts. Have noticed a weird symptom adding to this, and another person on this site I email with has same issue.

Dizziness is worse after I eat any food. Same with her. Does that make any sense? I noticed that was happening a couple of days ago, and really feeling it this morning.

Any ideas on what it might be? Have also developed itchy bumps that look like bug bites. Thanks.

Do you have MCAS? All of those things make sense for MCAS except for "harder to pee at night."

saraeli - I wondered about MCAS but remember it lowers blood pressure. Maybe it doesn't always lower it? Mine is high. But most of the rest seems to fit, except for breathing problems. Hoping Biologix Center will have some answers.

magoo2 - Yes, I have a crown and also a bridge. The bridge has been bothering me for a couple of months now, especially at night. Paying for Biologix is my first step. Maybe they will recommend dental considerations.

Actually mast cells can be a cause of interstitial cystitis so MCAS could make sense with urinary issues.

I just had all the formal mcas tests done and my n-methylhistamine in 24 hour urine is high. This can be high with interstitial cystitis - which I was diagnosed with. So MCAS could be driving my urinary issues. Just not sure what’s driving the MCAS!

Have you considered the possibility of an allergic reaction? I get the same symptoms from wheat, several medications.

The other thought I have is related - alpha gal (causes allergic reaction to meat and cheese) from the Lonestar ticks.

Experiment with the antihistamines Claritin and Benadryl, to seek symptom relief.

magoo2 - I don't know the exact dental terminology, but they are lower far side right.

carinpa - I wondered about allergic reaction also. Also, it seems reactivated EBV is getting worse, which may play a role. At this point, I'm hoping they can figure it out at Biologix Center. I will be there starting Monday for two weeks. Just a lot worse recently - eyes tear at night and are really red when I wake up and itch. I did notice an antihistamine seemed to help some, but trying to limit that because, from what I've read, will suppress immune system. And thanks.

You start on Monday at the Biologix centre? Wow, it's already here!

Thanks, Girlie, Hope all is still gong better for you. I'm excited about going. The drive up is the one thing of concern as dizziness has gotten worse lately. But it seems to be better when driving.
