I was wondering if any of you know about staph.
One of my family members has staph. That won't go away. For years.
It has been passed to my kids once a year for last three years. My kids went away from view with the ointment prescribed by dr.

The adaukt though does not seem to go away.
Symptoms include boils as well as a tingling in tail bone and a rash made up of tiny bumps. He says he can feel it under his skin. He also says he feels sometimes in one part of body when he itches in another part of body...

Does any of this sound familiar.
I'm thinking this could be part of a larger immune issue. Or taxing of immune.

I had staff years before all my symptoms. I was stumbling home from a tavern with my now wife and got it from a small cut from a sandal. A day later had chills and another day later it went up the leg to the groin. I had to cancel a trip to DC from it. took my abx and went "away". I wonder if Chalmidia P, Staph, strep, Lyme, Bart, Or Babs are causing my Brain symptoms. I also ate in Mexico before. Could be a mosquito bite or a Parasite for all I know. What ever it is It causes lots on inflammation and is disrupting transmitters.

Staph can be very dangerous. I know someone who got it in their heart and needed a new valve. Another got a brain anurism from Staph and is partially paralyzed, can walk at all yet..

The rash and tingling sound like a virus from the herpes family to me (Epstein-Barr virus, CMV, varicella, etc.). I hear you that their boils were tested and confirmed to be staph bacteria, though.

My child had MRSA boils for months, and it was awwwwwwful. Took a long time to get rid of it. The pediatrician was next to useless, aside from culturing the boils so we knew what they were. Oral antibiotics did nothing (except stain her teeth and cause an allergic reaction). We tried bleach baths, tea tree oil, various prescription antibiotic ointments, coconut oil, compresses, and other stuff I don't recall at the moment. Many of the treatments dry out the area, which allows it to spread, so it's crucial to keep the skin intact, not irritated, and not dried out. That said, it has to be kept dry, perhaps with cornstarch. The bacitracin zinc ointment works, as does tea tree oil, but the hygiene stuff is key.

We have no idea where she contracted it, as no one in our lives had it, she doesn't use any locker rooms or other common breeding grounds, and because we homeschool we know everything she does. Super weird. We were incredibly careful not to let it spread to other relatives, including not sharing any towels, washing towels every day, washing laundry on the sanitize setting, and bleaching the bathtub (and whole showering space and hardware) after every use. Giant pain in the butt, but worth it not to end up covered in painful boils!

How do you think your ex passes them to your kids? Can they be coached to use different hygiene habits when they are with him? Where are they located for him?
