Horrible psych symptoms with Rifampin?

I don't think so...not that I can remember.


My worse psych symptoms were pre-treatment. Bad anxiety and depression - from the moment I woke up in the morning...before my feet hit the floor.

Im reading up on other stuff about Rifampin and psych symptoms. Looks to be pretty frequent ( esp anxiety) Its still is so dreadful, I try to reassure myself it's not real its only because of the med. Ugh...on top of everything else.

Sometimes its nice though to hear from other people about their experiences. What's normal or not.

Psych symptoms are notorious with bartonella die-off. I had wicked anxiety and weird, trippy nightmafes for a couple months id say

I emailed my LLMD and was told to d/c the Rifampin, and Tuesday when they're back in the office they'll reassess everything. The intrusive thoughts are quieting down but not gone 100 percent. No change in the physical symptoms. I am detoxing like hell this weekend, I'm desperate.

Thanks for the feedback, Zbreezy - I was like you've described for the first 2 years of treatment.

Now after coming back from neuro herx insanity the next drugs I'am going to test are Ivermectin and Alinia.
