So I have been on antibiotic treatment for a year now. My partner has complained of symptoms (joint pain, fatigue, emotional bouts), and I’m worried that I have exposed her to Lyme and Babesia. The thing is, she can’t afford to see an LLMD. I’m worried about us reinfecting each other. Would I be wasting my time treating only myself if she is not being treated?

If you are concerned about reinfection - you can use protection so it’s not passed back and forth.

Personally I don’t think kissing would pass it on.
Others would disagree tho.

It seems like I remember reading in Buhner’s book that bartonella was found either in saliva or in salivary glands. Not sure if that necessarily means it will transmit infection that way, but it sure seems possible.

It’s possible - but it might be passed on via blood only - so if you have sores in your mouth... then maybe?

Isn’t Syphillis contracted via blood - not saliva?
Syphillis and lyme look similar - ie corkscrew bacteria.
