Hello, I was on Ceftin 1000mg 2x a day. I went to refill the script and I need a dr.s authorization. I feel it was decreseing some of my nuero symptoms. Will missing two days be a problem? I dont think I will be able to get a refill until Tuesday. I would hate to back slide. I still have plenty of Biaxin

I would not be overly concerned about a 2-day break

it takes around 1 day to get it all out of your system - but if you are on them long term its unlikely to be either here or there in any case

Shouldn't be a problem - skipping a few days.

People often skip days when they're herxing...until the herx symptoms subside.

Thanks, still no word from my Dr. On my Ceftin refill. Last time I it was Set. I guess I feel attached to it as a security blanket becasuse I feel like it was working well. What ever is in my brain was dying. Should I stick with the ceftin or ask for a different and?

go to the goodrx website. Type in your prescription / dosage / # of pills and they give coupon type codes for a decent discount on your script. Not as cheap as insurance but it helps a lot. You could also tell them to fill half and get a code for half the amount so that the doc has time to talk to insurance. This saved me a few times
