Bart herx, normal?

I am in a grueling process of going through what I pray to God is just a Bartonella herx.

I am having chest and throat pain, ear pain and jaw pain and feel a low grade temp appear. btw I am Covid safe, yes. I know herxing can affect ppl differently. Have ppl experienced this???

This almost feels like the side effects I had a few months ago when I was taking an antiviral for EBV. Just want to make sure this is normal. I had a friend tell me this does sound like normal die-off.

Yes, along with everything you mentioned I also get muscle/joint pain, weakness in arms, anxiety/agitation, extreme fatigue, heart palpitations occasionally, intolerance to cold, GI upset, muscle twitching, neuro disturbances, among many others

Yes, that can be herx symptoms.

Sounds like a herx. I experienced everything lymie said as well. It's a nightmare but it gradually gets better. Sorry you are going through it. Hang in there.

what are you on ? not everything is a herx said a lucky sulfa allergy sufferer...

Macrobid, no I don't have known allergies to sulfa drugs
