Self Bart test per feel with L-arginine and/or L-citrulline ?

This is "Nitric Oxide based" supplementation. I read this on a functional medicine chiropractors site - saying he first uses this on patients with suspect-able Bart to see if they feel better.

thoughts?

I thought Georgia Hunter mentioned less nitric oxide is best....?

(Yes its odd how some of these chiros are trying to be Drs, but some have good results....or there faking their own good reviews.)

..and babesia as well.

I don't think it would be very reliable as a diagnostic tool though. There would likely be changes to the way a person feels regardless as it dilates blood vessels and has some other actions.. it usually gives me an energy boost.

i have been trying L-Arginine at 2.5g 2x a day for a while now - a few months

i think i am making improvements while on it - but that was the general direction of travel before adding it also so hard to say if its making a difference.

it has benefits in cardiovascular disease and wound healing amongst other things and v little harm associated with it as far as i could find in my reading - so feel OK about taking it long term

if it is helping it seems subtle in my case - not enough for a black and white test i would say.

If you’re looking for something to self test for bart, I would think houttuynia, sida acuta, or similar would be the way to go.

WBF - Ive always said im around 90% better, ..............and dont know if 100% will ever happen. That 10% can still matter though when/if its bothersome.

I do still occasionally screw up a joint or tendon here and there from going to the gym, biking, roll my ankle hiking sometimes. Heres the deal- my body was really physically beat from the combinations of these past infections, .....and autoimmune,..... AND my past multiple "high speed injuries". Its a bad combination.

I dont think my joints are very strong after all this. Understandable. But.. is something also still lingering (?). How do I know?

There is still a bag of houttuynia in my pantry ........... (brother was over and thought it was pot at first LOL).

Houttuynia took five days to work in the past, and then hit like a ton of bricks! Im somewhat chicken to try it again. I wonder what it does to normal people though, I doubt it does nothing.

houttuynia - is ancient Chinese medicine. I really wonder if it could possibly kill every thing in the gut though.

If you’re wondering bart, houttuynia would definitely be worth a try especially if you reacted before. Maybe during a quiet long weekend?

That is the lowest cd57 ive seen here. Have you recently tested white blood cell counts, globulins.........and immunoglobulins?

I made houttuynia tea in the past and need to find the ratio again..........on some paper in the lyme pile. I should research it more before trying again. It hits most people hard after a few days, and thats what it did to me in the past, it snuck up on me all of a sudden.

I've heard nobody should take arginine if they hv herpes virus ebv or shingles. Isn't l ornithine very similar to l arginine? Wondering if that could be a good substitute for the arginine and if it would have similar effect. Anyone try ornithine ?

I was about to say the same thing, I have issues with viruses like shingles, etc. Arginine is used by them to replicate. That’s why Lysine (which counteracts Arginine) is used to treat viruses. I’d be wary of Arginine.

I use Ornithine to help detox my liver and feel sick if I skip it for a day or two. I take it at bedtime because it helps many people sleep.
