Herxing of a Sulfa allergy?

I had someone question why I was on Macrobid for Bartonella, and that my herxing could very well be an allergy to the abx.

The more I thought about it, the more I looked into it. I've never been on Sulfa drugs prior to being put on Macrobid. These "herxing" symptoms seem to now come into question.

I have an itchy and sometimes sore throat, itchy ears and a sore jaw. I do get chest pain too....these don't seem like the traditional herxing symptoms ( I'm Covid safe). I was provided a link to compare and contrast herxing and allergy signs.

What is everyone's take on this before I reach back out to my LLMD??? I've been hounding her alot lately and want to be careful questioning her and not step on her toes. But I am desperate for answers.

I'm thinking of taking a few days off from my Macrobid, heavily detoxing and then seeing what happens.
