Currently have bartonella and tick borne relapsing fever. Sometimes I've noticed that part or both of my eyes may be red but it's only just a portion of the eye. From what I looked up that means my body is actively fighting an infection. Anyone else have this happen? Am I correct in assuming it just means my body is fighting an infection?

As stated it's never my whole eye, just a portion or like a spot of it and it usually goes away after a couple of days.
