I think you should try staying on the abx - until you’re symptom free - and then continue taking them for several more weeks.
Were you taking cyst busters and something for biofilms?
If not, maybe add them in for a couple days per week.

For biofilms I take xylitol and lactoferrin.
For cysts I take Tinidazole (Flagyl is another option)
The cyst busters I take just two days per month.
The biofilm dissolves I take 5 days in a row each month.

Maybe discuss this with your Dr.

What test can doc use ?,cause the basic ones come back neg..will blood culture show my lyme ?

Such as ...some sort of scan ? .can it be seen ?

Are you referring to an echocardiogram or something else? I have a yearly echo. I have mitral valve regurge/prolapse that was first identified in 1997. I have suspected bartonella but no positive bart test. Had lifelong symptoms/anomalies suggestive of bartonella.

Welcome! Great that you respond to antibiotics. Not everyone does. That’s a good sign. Sounds like it’s a good time to treat this for real with an LLMD.

What you said about not getting the same symptoms this summer like before and instead getting more and worse symptoms later could be a sign of your immune system failing. I would seriously think about getting to a good LLMD.

I'm not sure we're all talking about the same things. Peterretep, are you looking for recommendations for cardiac tests or Lyme tests?

With your symptoms, you should have had an echocardiogram by now. That would tell you whether there's inflammation, arrhythmias, or other cardiac dysfunction.

You say you have had Lyme for a long time, but it seems like your doctor doesn't know much about Lyme if you keep getting short, sporadic doses of antibiotics and (seemingly) no other treatment. Lyme that's affecting the heart requires comprehensive, long-term treatment by a Lyme specialist. Do you have a positive Lyme test, and your doctor just doesn't know how to treat it appropriately? Or do you not have a positive Lyme test and are looking for recommendations about which tests to use? How was your Lyme diagnosed?

I have had lots of cardiac symptoms but nothing dangerous. My heart has been tested in various ways over and over again, and no one finds anything structurally wrong. I have POTS (racing heartbeat when I stand) and premature ventricular contractions (an annoying but usually harmless arrhythmia). These both can happen because of infections, stress, or anything else that taxes the nervous system. I'm mentioning my experience because it seemed like awful things were happening to my heart, but it's really okay, even when it's misbehaving. These symptoms are manageable and treatable.
