I came to this community in 2015 for support and with the great support and wisdom shares here, my long list of symptoms steadily declined. I let go of my eating and herbal protocol and stress galore beyond my control hit me, and I had what I think was a relapse in 2019 and made adjustments. I think actually, the anti-biotics I was given for a UTI infection that impacted my brain helped as did an earth angel's gifting of some herbal tinctures. What a tremendous blessing. Huge blessing. Now, in the journey, I am realizing, at 61 I've developed osteoporosis in my lumbar spine and osteopenia in one of my hips, and in researching causes, wasn't surprised to discover borrelia can be a factor. So, time for permanent life shifts and the research deepens. The big positive is, with the changes I've made, I feel ten years younger. I think one thing I would have done differently is that I would have not stopped hopping and jumping and high resistance weight training for good, but would have safely integrated such things into my day to day routine as my health came back. Live and learn and share the discoveries. In other ways, life is good, really good, I decided to retire early and focus on my health, and live a balanced flow with spiritual, creative, and playful focuses. I've returned to my part Hawaiian roots and have been studying indigenous spirituality which has really brought great richness to my life. To reduce stress I retired as a dance maker and from the dance company I founded in 1996 as well as its non-profit and focus on painting, singing, a bit of acting, gardening, and jumping and lifting and researching and making changes.
