Just throwing this out there.
Late Friday night my lower back began to hurt. This has happened before, and it is crippling. It feels much like a spinal problem, but it is different. The pain can migrate around, or it can take up the whole abdominal floor.
And it is excruciating. Staying in one position isn't bad, but changing positions is murder. I've learned that I must change positions periodically nonetheless, because staying in one position make it worse, long term.
So here's what I did to deal with this, in the order I thought of them.
- Increased Magnesium intake, to calm muscles and nerves. This helped a bit, but was not the solution.
- Cut back on my herbs, mostly on Jap. Knotweed and Cat's Claw. I stopped Andrographis completely.
- Increased my hydration, which I've been very slack on.
- Got serious again about building up collagen.
This is the end of the second full day, and it is much better. I think it is headed for the door. The problem is I think I need elevated levels of die-off, because my (physical) brain is telling me so.
In retrospect, the root of the problem is the level of anti-microbials I have been taking, which was high. I first got this pain when the LLMD's NP prescribed tetracycline. When I came down with the intense pain, she merely told me to go to the emergency room. Not a word about
what might be causing it. I stopped the Tetra and it went away. I also stopped the LLMD.
Now that I'm going over this, there is a strong possibility that the DE I've been taking contributed to the die-off and pain. I also stopped it for now. But I will go back.
So my body has an upper limit on how much die-off I can handle. I have added to my list above to shower every day and use other cleansing methods, like charcoal and clay.
