Here's a good video by Dr Hannelie at the Spero Clinic. I havent watched it for a while so it may make sense to take a peak yourself, but I'm pretty sure I remember it right. That is, she claims there are simple clues in the bloodwork that most drs will miss. She says that for viral infections, you can tell from the CBC. For example, an acute viral infection will cause a spike in the WBC, but will suppress it once it becomes chronic. So a low WBC is the first clue. Second, she says to look at the Neutrophils, Lymphocytes and Monocytes. As a
percentage, they should be around 60,30,7 in a healthy person. She claims in a chronic viral infection the N will drop while the L will go up. Third, if I remember correctly, she claims that in the presence of this first 2 indicators, an EBV IgG above a 750 is an indicator of viral replication.
WRT to traditional testing, we've spoke about
this before. I guess what bothers me about
the PCR test, not just for EBV but for any pathogen, is that it seems to often come back negative even when it should clearly be positive. Just because they didnt find any DNA in that sample doesnt mean its representative of whats in the body as a whole. This seems like the limitation.
My friend did her protocol after doing 6m of Rx antivirals, which did nothing. 4m of her protocol dropped his EBV and CMV titers.
My WBC is always around a 3.2 and my N/L/M %s are usually like 50,38,11, with an EBV IgG >750, which had me looking at this a few weeks ago. Also high for CMV titers and super high JC Virus titer (which prevented me from doin rituxan). Almost like there's some immune suppression in the background allowing low levels of viral replication. Or parasitic, which could also cause low WBC and high M.
Her protocol consists of NAC, Monolaurin, Lysine, Immuplex. It's weird because Rx antibiotics do not have any effect on me, but as soon as a i take an herb like monolaurin that could potentially hit viruses helminths or fungi, I burn like crazy. In addition, NAC gives me headaches. So I cant handle her protocol
