yep - me too

i look at all the drug interactions, side effects and contraindications of all the pharma and herbs i consider using before popping any of them.

no matter how ill we are - hasty decisions could easily make it worse rather than better - so i tend toi put the things with high side effect profiles lower down the list for this reason - especially the ones with significant potential for life long damage

i did read somewhere that some doc's still use it because works well for Bart - but they monitor blood levels within a certain range to minimise the risks - i don't have access to tests like that so that pretty much ruled it out for me

i don't know enough about it - and i am not sure anyone really does to be sure - some people have obviously taken it and been fine - but i think others have developed problems almost straight away.

i mentioned hearing problems as a general term for issues with the ears - but as above example posted by Clam Digger - that may be more than only hearing.

typically for bart you need things you can take long term so for that reason i ruled it out for myself
