My choice for antimalarial was going to be Hydroxychloroquine bt may potentially result in adverse effects on the central nervous system, mainly irritability, nervousness, emotional changes, nightmares, and even true psychoses , now I'm more frustrated on what to try as quinine is harsh so I've heard, and mepron I need a prescription which I cant as I'm self treating, and sida acuta was too potent and makes my blood pressure drop low(already have pots) humm what to do what to do now

Can you tolerate artemisinin, disulfiram, or valproate? Or are the side effects of those too bad?

plaquenil or hydroxychloroquinine is available on all day chemist.com you dont need a prescription through them , ok just worried bout those side effects posted above, mepron you do need a prescription basically everywhere

I read not to take artemisinin cuz it's not recommended no more, bt I'll try it. I've never tried disulfiram or valproate , bt some ppl say its harsh to tolerate

in it there are many more reputable online pharmacies and most do not require a prescription - or its a formality they provide after you fill out some details

i have used goldpharma, buy-plarma.md and alldaychemist and a couple of others - all fine

Question, so if I take just azithro or clindo, instead of taking an antimalarial like mepron, do I have the option to take an antibiotic and just add an antimicrobial_malarial buhner herb such as cryptolepis (as a substitute for the antimalarial combo) had anyone personally used only a buhner herb in replacement of an antimalarial for babesia?

Artemisinin caused me a lot of nervousness and sweating. The problem is I couldn't really tell if it was a babesia herx or it was just the artemisinin increasing my liver enzymes and messing with my adrenals.

Disulfiram or valproate can be hard to tolerate. I tolerated valproate a bit better that disulfiram, but it's definitely not a fun thing to be taking.

There really is no good answer for babesia.

So the reason why antibiotics like minocycline or azithromycin work (somewhat) on babesia, is that babesia contains an endosymbiont (apicoplast) that is vulnerable to these antibiotics. However to really be effective you might need to also hit the babesia itself with something else.

I tried cryptolepis and couldn't tolerate it, just made me feel awful and didn't seem to be a typical herx.

if you click on it and wait for the page to load that says "Oops something went wrong" - then look at the url
address bar at the top of your browser you will see for whatever reason "<strong></strong>" has been randomly inserted into the url ( even though it doesn't show in the url pasted below!)

if you delete that so it reads "..prescription-free-online...." and click "go" it works again

also some strong herbs like Cryptolepis and sida can create very strong herx reactions
they always do with me if i try to start at buhner recommended doses
but you can start on much lower doses that are tolerable and gradually work up

this has helped me considerably to treat while continuing to function - i can now tale 20x more than gave me strong herx symptoms initially and feel overall much better

btw Buhner later wrote that he finds sida works better than Cryptolepis for Babesia in his later experience

I dnt remember cryptolepis making me herx like that bt omg sida acuta nearly killed me! I was up to 11 drops and thought I was catching my last breath, I kid you not. Then went all the way down to 1 drop and only 1 sip mind you and there the burning in my head went, a little panic to top it all off with sweats and chills.all I know is the doc said babs cant be cured only with an antibiotic he said you must take an antimalarial in combo or an herb in combo. So have any of u gotten rid of babs then or?

I’m pretty sure I’ve eliminated Babesia.
I think what I’ve got left is Bartonella

I have a few symptoms leftover - trying to figure what they are - ie active infection or just needing more time to heal
