Methylene blue for Bartonella question

There are manufacturers that provide a third party lab analysis so you don't have to do it yourself.

This particular one I would not trust.

w/v stands for weight per volume.

So let's say you have 1 gram of methylene blue and the total volume of the solution is 100ml.
You then have a 1% w/v of methylene blue.

(There's a problem with this that I'll explain later)

There are also no other ingredients listed.
So we are left to guess what it's dissolved in.

But the biggest problem is that they didn't say how much mg per ml.

Here's why that's a problem:

Usually it's w/v is gram per 100 ml. So even in a 250 ml solution, it would still be gram per 100 ml.
Meaning, regardless of the total volume.

However, that was never the original meaning of w/v.
Here's a quote from wikipedia:

"1% m/v solutions are sometimes thought of as being gram/100 mL but this detracts from the fact that % m/v is g/mL"

So my advice would be to never buy anything that doesn't specify how much dosage per ml it contains.
