I have read that tetracyclines can cause damage to kidneys if expired - but I doubt it happens within a couple of months.

I remember reading a few years ago that expired antibiotics were sent over seas to poorer countries - but maybe that’s just a select few.

Maybe call the pharmacy you bought them at?
