i would do zhangs allicin and hh2 in addition to a pau de arco tincture. what i thought was candida was biofilm of prozoa , and gram negative overgrowth. the above with bee venom and daily plasma rife hit the bart/myco that was killing my nerves and causing the wasting syndrome.

u are in an interesting quandary as dave martz put it , one must treat hard enough to get pathogens of nerves but not so hard as to create more cellular damage.

fwiw - when my kidneys were sulfa damaged :palo azul and self heal herb decoctions helped greatly

A Great Mystery in my mind......is Bartonella / Candida more of a "symptom" than a cause??

I have read where these parasites are normally self-limiting,
except in a host that is being compromised by some other
infection/parasite/underlying condition.
In other words, fix the cause/underlying condition. and their
presence/symptoms will go away.

i certainly think bartonella can cause other normally trivial infections like candida or toenail fungus or stuff like that to take hold - as it suppresses your immune system significantly - and is know for causing this by doctors familiar with it.

but where lyme is involved who knows whether lyme is the main infection that lets open the door to bartonella or visa versa
both are highly prevalent - both are immune suppressive - both mess with the guts normal balance ( changes in the microbiome demonstrated in studies on lyme patients - and gastritis and colitis demonstrated in bart patients )

i was pretty darn healthy before this - i could drive 4 hrs, mountain bike in the hills for 4hrs and drive 4 hrs back, and work the next day no problem

I am thinking of adding oregano oil as well. But it seems nothing has helped in the past like Bicillin, as far as Lyme goes. So if I am understanding correctly (big if), taking care of Lyme first will help with other infections? AT the ame time, keep treating candida?

anything that has worked before for lyme would be my first choice for a core of any future treatment RW - that is gold in terms of indications of what is most likely to work again ( lyme does not develop abx resistance in any study so far)

i would start with that and after a couple of weeks for everything to become stable - add one other well proven anti-lyme abx that you can tolerate to that mix - and see how you get on

there is a great deal of trial and error involved in terms of what works for each individual and you may be better starting trying things on the basis of a pragmatic plan - than agonising over choices

i am not sure how much priority i would place on candida at the moment - part of me wonders if most of us with lyme and leaky gut would not test positive for candida antibodies....?

perhaps just control carbs in diet, and keep with your current anti fungal regime for starters -

then reassess in around 2 months and adjust from there.

I have almost died from it and still having cardiac complications (premature contractions, some arrhytmias) after a few weeks of oregano oil. My heart issues were pretty much non-existent before oregano oil. I've tried it twice (3 months apart) and every single time it caused the same issues. After first cycle I developed severe tachycardia and immense chest pain. After the second time I developed less tachycardia but more irregular beats that haunt me few months past my 2nd oregano oil attempt. Scary stuff.
