Bartonella/Persisters (Rifabutin, dapsone,daraprim/Mino/Ceftin/tinidazole/Alini/clindamycin ) for 6 (or was it 8?)months.
Whoa. That's one hell of a combo. Rifabutin by itself is darn strong, Dapsone even stronger (it was fatal for some people). Can't imagine anything surviving that entire set of antimicrobials.
I could only tolerate Clindamycin for about
5-7 days before kidney pain became untolerable.
S.P. definitely takes it easier with his Tetracycline + Fluconazole protocol. Although Fluconazole by itself can be problematic (azoles cause nerve damage and Fluconazole caused atrial fibrillation in some cases).
