Hi Sunflower,
I have a positive mycotoxin urine test too and I'm sorry to hear you are devastated.
That said, I have treated for it but it did not make me feel any better.
I'm not telling you that to demotivate you, in fact, it's quite the contrary.
I wanted to let you know because it might not be what's causing your symptoms.
Meaning, if it's devastating for you, I would not rule out that it might not actually be mold.
Just to clarify I'm not saying that mold illness doesn't exist. But over the past months I've been questioning the reliability of these tests.
You can see my mycotoxin test results here:
https://i.ibb.co/gpxc5jc/mold.pngAs you can see, I'm in the "red zone" for 3 mycotoxin groups.
So you would think that taking Cholestyramine and other supplements for several months would at the very least have
some effect right? Whether good or bad. But that didn't happen. In fact, I felt like absolutely nothing changed.
So I'm back to the drawing board.
With Garzie's help, and other people on this forum, I'm starting to realize that besides Lyme, that Bartonella is likely a big issue for me that I need to address.
So my point is this: if you feel like your whole treatment plan was just thrown upside down, please know that might not be the case.
It's possible, but it's not a given.
