Does anyone have any experience with their products? They use soil-based and spore-based strains prebiotics and probiotics to restore gut and immune health.

My buddy who healed from Lyme and Babesia about 4 years ago recently went to a general naturopath (not a Lyme specialist per say) because he’s been feeling sluggish in the AM and his cortisol levels/adrenals have been off according to whatever tests they did. The NP recommended this brand to help restore his microbiome, which like most of us, has probably been damaged due to extended use of antibiotics while treating infections. He is using the Advanced care version so I ordered some myself. It’s recommended that you start 1 every other day for a week and then increase to 1 per day for a week and then 2 daily after. They’re a bit on the expensive side so my buddy is sticking to just 1 capsule daily.
Inside the box it actually contains a slip which tells you what to expect: “with initial use, you may feel some GI discomfort, cramping, or changes in stool. An immediate response is normal and a sign that the synbiotic is reconditioning the intestinal terrain of your GI tract as intended. Any discomfort should subside within 3-5 days.” My buddy told me he had 1-2 days of a lot more bowel movements and even more gas and then returned to his normal routine.
I started my first capsule last night so I’ll see how it goes. I’ve been using Florastor probiotic for at least 2 years and figured I needed a change - especially since I believe my last remaining major symptom (dysautonomia) is gut related since the 11 months I’ve done IVIG has not really positively affected my POTS-like symptoms. I started to go gluten free over the last 3 months and that has definitely helped energy levels, so that’s another clue that it may be the gut where the issue is - either malabsorption (also started taking thiamine supplements as a trial based on DcD1203’s recent thread on thiamine for dysautonomia) or some other dysfunction that keeps the inflammation going in the body and brain.
