If one were to get no other minerals in their diet, then I might agree. But, if a person is eating a varied diet, distilled water is safe to drink. Filtered water doesn't have a ton of minerals or in high amounts, anyway.
Drinking fresh squeezed lemon in water adds a nice taste, but the acid can harm the enamel on your teeth. One strategy is to dilute the lemon juice with sufficient water. Another good idea would be to rinse with plain water after drinking lemon water and waiting 30 minutes before brushing -- again, this is to protect your tooth enamel.
