During this past week, since I had this COVID-like illness, I developed a bizarre new symptom that I have never in my life had before.
It’s a sharp pain in the inner back side of my thigh a couple inches above the knee. I feels like a sharp, painful pinch. The first time it happened, I nearly freaked out because of blood clot associated with COVID. Then I decided it probably wasn’t that. A blood clot would typically be deep in the back of the calf and would be constant, right?
This is random. It’s not constant. If I stretch my legs out and the spot presses against the seat, it happens. It’s happened when walking, occasionally. It happened just now when I tried to step out of the car.
What could this be? How do I make it stop? It really hurts like something is literally pinching me when it happens.
If I rub my fingers across the leg, I feel the area. It’s sore to the touch.
