Lovely, just got to work and the maintaince crew are tending to a leak that happened on FRIDAY, in an office next to mine. Something with the steam vents from the heater. The last few weeks the our heater has been working like crap, we're either freezing or super hot. How do I address my concern for mold? *** great. Day #3 of 2022 and it sucks.

In a work environment, you would think after a leak mold would be a concern for a company. Then again, most people pay no attention to potential for mold. Maybe bring it up as a concern for all?

I asked maintenance if they "shop vacced" all the water. Guy said no towel dried only, I swallowed so hard. He told me to call housekeeping and they could spray down the rug with antifungal spray....its too late I think for that but I called anyway. Due to staffing issues nobody's been up here yet. I'm really upset. The nurses who sit in that office had the option to work from home today for that reason, they'll be back tomorrow. We'll, I did my part I guess.

I've made it known for 6 months now my concerns. Other people too. It stinks with winter now here since we can't open windows. Another reason to keep the masks on I guess lol.

Can you ask for a hepa filter? It’s good for COVID too

True hepa filters are often used by people who have mold issues but they also filter out germs including viruses and COVID specifically.
