Hi,

there are many medications and supplements that alter blood flow by several different mechanisms

to my mind - which will help you most depends on which mechanisms are being dysregulated and how effectively these dysregulated mechanisms can be addressed with the supplement or drug you are considering

some drugs dilate blood vessels - lowering blood pressure
l-arginine does this to a small degree - by increasing nitric oxide in the blood
( i think Buhner likes it also because its natural and likely safe in moderation and there are some scientific studies showing it has other useful effects against bartonella )

but this may not be the main reason for poor circulation
-it may be to do with disrupted autonomic responses ( the automatic nervous system that controls the dilation of - or constriction of blood vessels around the body - in order to regulate blood flow ( lyme and bart and others can cause this )

-it may be to do with fibrin deposits in the blood vessels themselves preventing good circulation
( bartonella and inflammation in general both do this ) see some recent pots on proteolytic enzymes for this

- it may be due to other things like hypercoagulation, POTS, auto-immune disease against compounds in red blood cells (Hughes syndrome ) Renaulds syndrome, deconditioning etc etc

in my view - its generally better to find out what the root cause of your particular issue is - and then try to address that at the root cause for a targeted and therefore likely more successful effect - rather than to take broad acting drugs in the hope they may help ( they all come with side effects )

yes i have no problem on the blood flow in my body but i was think maybe it will help with the treatment if have even more blood flow.
is so true what you say garzie too about finding cause. and you say bartonella and i have this. so i save your comment and it helps and running wild too.
