Twas on the news today this morning a research group had studied lingering symtoms for people in Sweden that has been sick in covid. 10% of all the patients had lingering symptoms, and they were in some way eye-related. They were

Hard to focus,
light sensitivity,
occasional strikes of head-ache,
aching eyes,
feeling like gravel in the eyes,
cant sit at computer screen for too long.

Well, these are the exact symptoms I am still having and seem to be unable to get away with.

The study didnt give any explanation why these symptoms were still present, so I would like to speculate what could be the cause. Is it autoimmune disease related..? Isnt it quite likely that it is the exact same cause having post-Lyme symptoms as having post-Covid symptoms as they are similar, at least for me...?

Personally, after post virus symptoms lingered after being sick in mid-December, I did 10 days of Alinia. I also took Ivermectin about 3 times since then. I continued taking the supplements that I started while sick - Quercetin, zinc, Vit C, Vit D.

I don’t feel like I have lingering post virus symptoms anymore. If I do get fatigue again, I will take another dose of Ivermectin or do a short 3 day round of Alinia.

thanks, i will try it out. I think it could be the same cause of symtpoms in both illnesses.

Atovaquone and ivermectin worked for me. The virus is hard to eliminate completely, and it would relapse when I stopped the meds. It took about 6 weeks of treatment to fully get rid of it.

I posted this morning and said I didn’t have lingering symptoms anymore. Well, I had fatigue again today. I noticed it yesterday, too, but thought it was because I didn’t sleep well a couple nights in a row. I slept last night and actually fell asleep before 9:30 pm, yet I felt waves of fatigue and weakness in my legs after breakfast this morning.

I last took a dose of Ivermectin last Wednesday. I always feel better a few days after taking it, but the benefits then wear off and I start feeling worse again.

The weird thing is this kind of fatigue was never part of my normal symptom picture. I didn’t have that until I got the virus in December. It’s the kind of fatigue that makes me want to lay down and go to sleep. I never lay down or take naps in the daytime. Sometimes it’s milder where I just have no energy or motivation.

I hope I can get out of this loop.
