I'm sorry about
your situation. Chronic illness is hell on relationships. There is no doubt about
that. I can imagine having two chronically ill people in the same household would be tough to deal with. Honestly your situations sounds extremely toxic. Is there anywhere else safe you can live? Do you have a therapist?

I wanted to add that you could try talking to your mom rationally when she is in a good head-space to explain your feelings. You've said you have talked to her. What did she say? Additionally, if she doesn't change, mentally preparing yourself for your mom's behavior seems like a good idea. If you know it's always going to come then building mental fortitude to the situation might be helpful. You could try removing yourself from the situation when drama happens. Find something to distract the mind. Rumination is a killer. This is easier said than done, but progress can be made. Read, journal, meditate, work on a hobby etc. Even something as brain-dumb as surfing low stakes, but fun, content on internet. I can't even tell you how much time I've wasted on the internet surfing nothing important when I'm in bad flares. Anything to take the mind off the suffering.
I feel for you. My parents have finally accepted my condition after a half decade +. But even then, because it's controversial, I don't think they truly get it. Having to live with them would be toxic.
