Mitochondrial dysfunction from a conventional medical viewpoint is kind of hard to test for. In our world the term is used rather loosely.
I wonder what Buners definition of mito dysfunction is?
I went to a specialist for that about
six years ago, the only one true test for it is muscle biopsy. They go by symptoms too though. If you have their list of symptoms then they do the biopsy, otherwise they won’t do it because it cost over $7000 apparently, Then they deal with multiple labs and every time it’s another thousand dollars. Yeah cost is pretty crazy.
Again , another separation between conventional medicine and functional medicine.
