Low TGF-Beta1 meaning?

Test for TGF-b1 came back at 719 pg/ml and is described as being low. The reference interval is 867-6662 pg/ml. I’m confused because my new doc said this was a high result and from what i’ve read online a high result is usually what is seen in people with Biotoxin illness and Lyme.

What would a low TGF-b1 result mean?

Did you get a copy of the test results? Can you post a copy of the page here? I am thinking there’s a mixup somewhere.

yep - i would double check teh units and lab ref ranges - but defo post a copy up here and we will be able to advise better

I just spoke to my doctor. He confirmed my TGF-b1 as being 719 pg/ml which is low/normal

My MMP-9 is 443 ng/ml
And my MSH is 23 pg/ml

Any thoughts?
