Reaction to epson salt bath

I took a 20 minute epson salt foot bath yesterday. Shortly after I started feeling weird like I was in a dream and not really awake, and my legs were very itchy. All day today ive had neck/head pain, my head feels full like my brain is swollen, still have that weird dream feeling, blurry vision and light sensitivity, hot flashes, dizziness, heart palpitations, and out of breathe. Is this a reaction that can happen from epson salt, I have issues detoxing so I'm wondering if I released toxins in my body

I have read about a lot of people who have reactions to it. I wish I could remember why. It might have to do with sulfation? sulfur pathways? I think it has magnesium and sulfer in it.

Anyway the suggestion is to start with a foot bath. I have also seen recommendations for 1 tablespoon per bathtub.

They are supposed to be extremely healthy and helpful (once again I cant remember why and I have a paper somewhere describing it). I would start really low and work up gradually.

I also used to use extremely warm water. They became much more tolerable when I reduced the water temperature
