DHEA-S too high

Is high dhea-s something that Lyme can cause?
Last year it was already somewhat too high but now it's double the max reference value.
In 2018 it was also somewhat too high but went back to normal again.

DHEA-S 24.20 μmol/L - Reference: 4.34 - 12.20
FT4 23.5 - Reference: 12.0 - 22.0 pmol/L
Testosteron is higher than last year but within range. And I have been doing 80 pushups / day so that could be why.
Other hormones are normal.

i think hormonal imbalances are just a part of what lyme does in the body

my partner had a lot of issues with sex hormones causing random things to fluctuate - like irregular menstruation -breast tenderness etc etc

i also have issues with cortisol - which is made by the adrenal gland also - as per DHEA

the other thing to watch for is things that are precursors in supplements you may be taking - eg pregnenolone is a precursor of DHEA and testosterone i think

also some herbs may stimulate dhea production - perhaps - adaptogens in general

finally - not sure about the DHEA test - but for many blood tests biotin is used in the process - and biotin supplements can effect the result - giving false readings - eg thyroid tests
