My family does not have very strong molars. We break them. And we also get cavities a lot easier than other people, I have read and heard that this is so much genetic as well.
Some people abuse their teeth with sweets all day long don’t go to the dentist and never have problems they are very lucky!
Myself and siblings are not so lucky.
So when I was younger I had some combination metal undersided ceramic crowns. These are reaching their limits and as I age my gums are receding a little , allowing cavities to form underneath.
I had a couple new 100% ceramic Crowns, They’re actually made and cured in the dentist office itself, in two hours.. I already had one fall off, and I do not trust the dentist that has the service.
**So my question is do they make traditional crowns (The ones that take two weeks ) that are 100% ceramic without any metal in them? That would be a type that I’ve not had yet but would like to explore that as an option.**
The place I was going to a couple years changed after Covid. They are now very greedy and clever at billing you, and that’s what the reviews also say. It’s a small place with ever-changing employees. When employees constantly leave, that tells you something.
**( Edit: It’s now a part of a national chain disguised with a small town dentist name, ha ha! )**. Per online reviews, they Are now very , High pressure, sales driven. I don’t think it was dentistry as a sales opportunity , unfortunately there are companies that do now!
So once again I need to find a new dentist after my good one retired that I had for 30 years in 2019.
I’ve asked dental questions before and a few mentioned I should to go to one of those bio dental places. If money grew on trees that’s what I would do. I’m trying to lower financial stress in an Everly increasing Costley world. Paying for lyme was enough.
Thanks For another non-lyme question!
