Sore-like marks popping up on arm?

My husband has been getting these small sores popping up in one forearm/elbow for the past few months. They are red, round, and somewhat scabby and are taking several weeks to heal.
They are not insect bites.

He has been applying ozoneated jojoba oil, oil of oregano, and iodine on them, which had slowly been helping. However, new ones are popping up.

Any ideas what this could be?

Sounds like ringworm.

If you search for ringworm online and click on images you can see if it looks like that.

Bartonella is a likely suspect.

but i have sores / spots that pop up all over - caused i believe by bartonella

often start as a blocked pore with a core of something hard and white inside it - or pustule - if scratched will bleed and take a very long time to heal

sounds like shingles , try lysine in coconut oil if viral
