Bart IgeneX tests

if it were me - i would use galaxy ddPCR triple draw test for bart

its the best documented test with published validation studies and was developed by world leading bart researchers.
its a step ahead of anything else out there in terms of sensitivity - which is the main issue with Bart
it is expensive though.

the Igenex multispecies bart immunoblot is probably the second best choice out there
sensitivity is still an issue - but due to the multiple antigens it at least has a better chance
some people just don't seem to make detectable antibodies to bart - which is a downside of that test

i have also found bartonella via thin blood smears with Giemsa stain - but its laborious work and no commercial labs are offering it at this point in time.
( i have been thinking of setting one up as its been extremely useful in my case in definitively identifying bartonella when serological blood tests were negative )

i would not spend my money on any of the others - sensitivity is very low - probably under 20%
