My insurance won't cover my nystatin so instead of I've been given clotrimazole which I need to take 4 times a day is what my LLMD is saying. It sounds like too much 4 times a day? Anyone else have insurance that wouldn't cover the nystatin ? I have state insurance which is most likely why sadly. I wasn't willing to pay out of pocket , screw that, bad enough all the money we spend at the llmd , not to mention it's only a 25 min follow up appointment. I'm trying to stay open minded and positive about all this.

Try goodRx. In my area 120 tablets, which should cover a month, cost between 27-45$ through them depending on what pharmacy you use. Some pharmacies will match the lowest goodRx price.

Great advice from Lymie24.

I generally find the best price through GoodRx, but have sometimes found SingleCare to have better pricing. Be aware that the pricing changes frequently.

Another thing I've done is buy the discount gift cards from cardcash.com (eg CVS, RiteAid, Walgreens). This discount is in addition to the goodrx discount.

Note: A lot of small town privately owned pharmacies that are left will not take these discount cards because they lose money,...... but most regional or nationwide pharmacies will accept them.
