IMHO, ANY level of trichothecenes needs to be treated, especially with the symptoms you described. But most importantly, she needs to verify exposure. If she’s still living in exposure, she needs to move to a place with no water damage and a low ERMI/HERTSMI-2 and experiencing symptom reduction in that environment. Her symptoms definitely sound like toxic mold is her primary problem. Until that is properly addressed, trying to treat infections will only add to the pain and suffering.
The lab results show what the range is and whether that result is “positive” or not. Even if below positive range, it indicates exposure to a very toxic mold. Need to know where that exposure is coming from. Stachybotrus produces trichothecenes and is found where there’s a water leak. It can also grow in HVAC systems. It was in our duct plenum and our attic where the bathroom vent vented directly into the attic instead of outside.
